In the 1960s, a bar in Buffalo, New York, offered less expensive food options such as sandwiches and spicy chicken wings as an attraction for local football fans. The modern sports bar was the creation of Dennis Harrah, he was an offensive lineman with the Los Angeles Rams and opened Legends in Long Beach, California in 1979. Legends was a stand out, live satellite broadcast sports, sports memorabilia, food and drink. The goal is for fans to have feel the experience of being at the game with fans and their team.
